Face Coverings and Masks
Camp Linstead is mask optional for 2023.
Hand Washing/Sanitizing
Hand washing and hand sanitizing stations are available throughout camp. Campers will perform hand hygiene frequently throughout the day.
Daily Health Checks
Campers, volunteers, and staff not feeling well should not come to camp. This includes, but is not limited to, mild cold symptoms, fever, cough, congestion, etc.
A camper shall not be allowed to attend camp for the day if they have:
- A temperature over 100.4 degrees
- Recurrent vomiting or diarrhea
- A communicable disease (such as the flu or pink eye)
If your camper exhibits any of these conditions while at camp, you will be notified and asked to take your camper home until they are healthy enough to return. Campers should be symptom free for 24 hours before returning to camp.
Anyone who has been exposed to COVID or who is currently sick with COVID should follow current CDC guidelines (see “If You Were Exposed” or “If You are Sick”).
Cleaning/Disinfecting
All areas and buildings will be cleaned/disinfected daily.
Bathrooms will be cleaned and disinfected on a regular basis.
Individual supplies for activities will be provided to campers as needed. High use items will be cleaned/disinfected on a regular basis.
Ventilation
Camp activities are mainly outdoors. If activities take place within a building or structure windows, doors, access ways, and vents will remain open when possible.
